Mossburn Distillers & Blenders

Heavily peated single malt whisky made with a mix of Concerto and Laureate malted barley with an in-grain phenol content of 77ppm. Fermented with Pinnacle MG+ and Safspirit M-1 Yeasts. Aged in first-fill Bourbon and re-fill whisky barrels.

Torabhaig

Behind the Torabhaig distillery is the Sound of Sleat. A narrow, powerful strip of sea dividing Skye and the mainland.

Sound of Sleat is the fourth release in the Torabhaig Legacy SeriesThis expression is crafted from a blend of Concerto and Laureate malted barley, peated to 78PPM+, and fermented with 100% Pinnacle MG yeast over a 72-hour period. This release is aged exclusively using Quercus Alba American Oak, including first-fill heavily toasted barrels shipped directly from the cooperage, first-fill Bourbon barrels typically 4-6 years old from Kentucky and refilled Bourbon barrels that may have had 10 years+ use from our own warehouses. Bottled at 46% without chill-filtration or colouring.

The result is a deeply expressive single malt, offering delicate notes of orange, apricot, and sweet maritime seaweed on the nose, a rich palate of bonfire smoke, honey, and sea salt, and a lingering, elegant finish that captures the spirit of storms, sunsets, and the wild Sound of Sleat.

A cask strength single cask bottling. Rich and umami in its style, with well-integrated peat smoke and an underlying sweetness of dried fruits

Scots Gaelic for ‘Autumnal, related to Autumn’ Exuding warmth and a delightful array of fruity notes, Mac-Talla Fogharach evokes the essence of autumn vineyards following the harvest. Infused with peaty undertones, complemented by sherried baked fruits, almonds and a subtle hint of spice.

Aged 11 years |Highland | Bourbon Hogshead | 52.1% ABV | 286 Bottles

The key malt component of Johnnie Walker, Clynleish in single malt form is highly sought after. With only 286 bottles this is a single cask bottling. Bright and vibrant. Rich with tropical fruits and vanilla, with subtle notes of honeyed beeswax.

An 8 year old matured in first fill Sherry Butt this is beautifully rich with milk chocolate raisins and marzipan fruits.
