A classic dry sparkling wine with elegance and poise. The colour is pale straw with a steady stream of minute bubbles. It has enticing aromas of freshly baked brioche, honeyed oats, biscuit and nougat. On the palate it has a creamy mousse with ripe quince, baked apple and a hint of pear frangipane. There is a seamless integration of yeasty complexity plus balance and freshness. The finish is crisp, dry and very moreish.
1086 wines are characterised by their balance; acidity, length and texture are all beautifully judged and combine seamlessly upon the palate.
The first ever Prestige Cuvee made in England, 1086 represents the pinnacle of our winemaking. Our 2010 vintage has a rich and generous fruit character alongside a savoury and caramelised flavour (the result of almost a decade of ageing). Its texture and richness allow for pairing with some of the most decadent and complex ingredients which highlight the wine’s exquisite character.
Light gold hue and a fine, delicate mousse. Aromas of citrus and honeysuckle lead into subtle brioche and vanilla characters. The palate offers generous yet elegant notes of baked lemon and white peach with the warmth of the vintage shining through. Subtle mineral notes accentuate the fresh, crisp acidity, leading to a long and complex finish.
Lovely pale gold and gentle, fine bubbles. Toasty, spicy and complex aromas showing wonderful development after more than three years on lees in our cellar. The palate supports these complex aromas with honey, almond, pastry and baked apple flavours. Very fine and elegant with great commination of intensity, delicacy and length.Nyetimber
Light golden hues and a slight silver undertone illuminate this delicately effervescent wine. Aromas of pure lemon, mineral and honey tones and a hint of tangerine fill the nose. The palate has a lively sweet lemon start set off by a crisp acidity and a very clean, pure structure. The finish is minerally and citrus filled.Nyetimber
