Beautiful crimson very deep, very and intense. The nose is complex with notes of black fruits, ripe red fruit, plum, mixed with toasted notes of toast, vanilla bean. This wine is very concentrated in the mouth, with tight tannins, fat, volume, mocha, blackberry, roundness and fine tannins on the finish.

A fresh wine with a lovely hue, bursting with aromas of ripe guava, pineapple, kiwi, green apple and a hint of strawberry, ending with a well-balanced acidity and a lingering finish.
Aromatic with clean mineral notes and hints of citrus. The palate is medium bodied with crisp, appley acidity, tight , pure fruit flavours of white peach and pears finished with a classic, steely, dry finish.
Deep black fruit, raisins and toast. This is a very well structured wine with firm tannins and refreshing acidity, toasty cedar notes mingle well with bramble fruit and dark cherries. A long and complex finish.
Vrede en Lust has been producing Viognier from Simonsberg Paarl region since 2007 and in 2010 the first crop of Viognier from Elgin were harvested. As the vineyards matured we noticed that the two styles (warmer and cooler) complement each other when it comes to wine style and since 2012 only one Viognier has been produced under the the Vrede en Lust range.

The fruit for this wine is sourced from the Vrede en Lust Elgin farm, Casey’s Ridge. Most Rieslings are consumed when they are young, showing the most aromatic characteristics.

Pale cherry red colour. There’s an attractive herby, savoury, mineral character to the nose which shows some lightly aromatic red cherry fruit. The palate has a smooth, elegant sort of fruitiness, with a hint of grippy spiciness backing up the red cherry fruits, as well as a trace of undergrowthy complexity. Aromatic, expressive and intense on the nose, with lots of mature fruit and sweet spice. What follows in the mouth is fleshy and full-flavoured, the spice again makes an appearance, the tannins are soft and supple.

La Battistina, situated in the north west region of Piedmonte, is an estate situated around the town of Gavi, and considered one of the best sites in Gavi. The vineyards are south facing with chalky and mineral soils, which allow the Cortese grape to ripen to its fullest. The wine is aromatic, with zesty citrus, lime and pineapple notes with a hint of minerality. The weighty fruit gives this wine an immensely long finish.
