The award winning 2017 vintage has flavours of melon, peach and mandarin from the Ortega grapes while Bacchus adds delicate grassy aromas and Chardonnay lends weight add texture. Delicious served chilled with salad, fish or chicken.
Produced by the Royal Agricultural University Farms, grown on a sunny south-facing slope of the Cotswold Hills near Cirencester. The vineyard was planted in 2010 with Ortega, Bacchus, Chardonnay and Seyval grape varieties and is leased from Farmcare Trading Ltd. 2017 was an excellent growing season producing a small quantity of ripe grapes.

A deep ruby medium bodied wine with aromas of violet, cherries, and a touch of toasted oak following onto the palate. Soft tannins and a hint of oaky vanilla, lead to cherry, blackberry and summer fruits into a long dry finish.

A deep, ruby coloured red wine full of ripe blackberry and cherry fruit on the nose with a subtle hint of lightly toasted oak from the American Barrel ageing. English red berry fruit character dominate on the palate, (damson, cherry, with a hint of blackberry and raspberry) and on the finish subtle vanilla oak character adds a degree of complexity to this cool-climate red wine.
