The family tradition, passed through generations, is based on respect of the terroir and winemaking. Domaine Henri Bourgeois are committed to producing the finest Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé wines. This means using the best of tradition with the best of modernity
Produced by Jean-Marie Bourgeois who is rapidly achieving an international reputation as one of the leading figures in Sancerre and Pouilly Fume; this has a wonderfully concentrated smokey fruit flavour.
A Sancerre highlighted by its typicity with a delicate nose with aromas of white flesh fruits and citrus which continues on the palate with added exotic fruit, subtle yet powerful.
A very fruity and refreshing easy to drink rosé, with a bouquet full of ripe red fruits. A particularly well-balanced and structured wine with the aromatic themes continuing on the palate.
The grapes come from chalky - clay soils on the slopes of the Loire Valley known as ‘The Garden of France’. A delicious soft dry white, with balanced acidity, characterized by a fruity and floral bouquet. Very aromatic with pleasant flower and fruit fragrances recalling the flower of the vine and the fruit of the sauvignon, ideal for drinking by itself in a large glass.
A super soft round Pinot with succulent flavours of morello cherries and red plums, subtly woody with light pleasant tannins.
Concentrated and well-balanced, this wine offers an authentic and fleshy Sauvignon Blanc, showing an ageing with a surprising subtlety.
The delicate tropical fruit aromas (a proof of ripe Sauvignon grapes) and clean mineral and fruity palate testify to Le MD's pedigree as an exceptional wine from one of the finest slopes in the Sancerre appellation.
Its green gold color has some bright and luminous reflects. Its nose is quite expressive and complex. It evolves all along the tasting. It opens beautifully on exotic fruits, green mango, citrus, honey and a hint of menthol. The mouth is powerful, round and harmonious. One can taste fresh grape but also a refreshing and sharp minerality. It is a particularly long lasting wine.
Made with the intimate knowledge of the terroir that can only come from the same family working the land for generations, this wine comes solely from the highly esteemed flinty soils around the village of Saint-Satur. Marvellous purity, with a vast array of complex fruit nuances and fine minerality.Henri Bourgeois
