Brockmans unique recipe of naturally grown aromatic botanicals are steeped in pure grain spirit for many hours to release their natural oils and aromas. The more traditional notes of gin are combined with a refreshing influence of citrus and aromatic wild berries. Bulgarian coriander plays its part, providing an aromatic, gingery orange top note. This blends perfectly with the soft and rounded harmonies of blueberries and blackberries, all of which is supported by the bottom note of Tuscan juniper berries. Dry, bittersweet Valencian orange peel elongates the deeper tones and gives an intensely smooth finish.
Thereafter, Brockmans is slowly distilled in a 100 year old traditional copper still, where we capture the heart of the gin distillation. The distinctive gin notes derived from Brockmans unique recipe deliver an exquisite intensely smooth gin, with a uniquely defining sensual taste experience.

Where the more traditional notes of gin are combined with a refreshing influence of citrus and aromatic wild blackberries and blueberries. Hadrian’s Wall Gin draws inspiration from an ancient monument rich in history and steeped in tradition. Handcrafted in Northumberland, our gin is infused with traditional Roman herbs & botanicals including angelica, pimento, coriander, camomile and garden mint to give a truly authentic blend of Italian culture and rural Britain.
Hallowed 9 is a hand crafted gin inspired by the 9 Herb Charm from the Anglo-Saxon Lacnunga (Remedies book). For centuries our ancestors have used these common countryside herbs for remedies, charms and rituals; to cure the medical and spiritual ailments from which they suffered. As time moved forward, some of these herbs fell out of use, their significance and meaning often becoming overlooked and forgotten.
Today we draw together these herbs and other native botanicals from the riches of our natural surroundings to create a British gin like no other. Representing the breadth and depth of our ancient countryside Hallowed 9 is a fresh new take on gin rooted in British history.
There are 15 botanicals in our Gin, including 7 that are used in the Lacnunga's 9 Herb charm. These include Juniper (central to any gin), Wood Betony, Plantain (no, not that sort of plantain - Plantago major), Nettle and Hogweed seeds and each have their own unique historical uses:
HENDRICK’S LUNAR GIN has mellow spice with subtle citrus finish. It is an intriguing combination of the refreshing, the warm and the whimsical and is designed to be shared and savoured on an evening as the sun goes down and the moon charges the sky.
It is what Hendrick's might taste like in a parallel universe.
Orbium is a reimagining of Hendrick's Gin by our Master Distiller, Lesley Gracie. Instilled with additional extracts of Quinine, Wormwood and Blue Lotus Blossom, the result is an oddly exquisite gin that sits roundly on the palate. It is almost certainly not for everyone.
Orbium contains the same distillates as Hendrick's Gin, however, the same remarkable mind that broke conventions by infusing gin with essences of cucumber and rose has now taken gin in an altogether new direction by infusing flavours that are traditionally associated with classic gin libations; quinine found in tonic (Gin & Tonic) and wormwood found in Vermouth (Martini Cocktail). But it is not yet quite Orbium.
