Things to come

April 11, 2011

After the very welcome Sunshine at the weekend, we seem to have gone straight back to miserable grey and drizzle. However grey it might be outside, things are still bright and cheerful here at Connolly’s. Last week was very busy for us, with several Corporate Tastings during the week, then on Wednesday evening we had the privilege of Arnaud Bourgeois company at Simpson’s. Fine wine and fine food, I can think of nothing better!  A big thank you to Arnaud, for taking the time visit us; and to all our guests who manage to secure a place for dinner, needless to say it was a very lovely evening.

This week is another busy week for corporate events; A Sparkling wine & Champagne tasting, an introduction to wine tasting and a Connolly’s challenge.  We are also hoping to confirm the next few events. During May we shall be featuring Portuguese wines, we are hoping to include a Portuguese tutored wine tasting in the shop, along with some special offers and opportunities to learn more about these great wines. Keep your eyes peeled for updates.
