Sancerre Tutored Tasting

June 24, 2010

Connolly's have been working with Sancerre wines from Henri Bourgeois since time began.. well for a very long time. This is not laziness but simply because we believe that Henri Bourgeois produces the finest of Sancerre wines.

As well as a mind boggling range of Sancerres, Bourgeois also produce wines from Menetou Salon, Pouilly Fume and smaller appellations such as Chateaumeillant.

On Monday 12th July at 6.30pm in our shop on Livery Street the enigmatic Frederic Sureau from the House of Bourgeois will be taking us through a selection of these stunning wines.

Tickets are just £15 per person and will entitle you to some exclusive offers available that evening.

To book tickets please call  Sarah on 0121 236 926 or email sarah@connollyswine.co.uk

Tickets must be booked and paid for in advance of the tasting, spaces are limited.

Growers would routinely bottle a modest proportion of their harvest into half bottles and restaurants in particular, would carry them, largely for the benefit of solo diners
