Happy New Year

January 04, 2011

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year from all of us at Connolly's, we hope you had a very jolly festive season.

After a rather hectic Christmas followed by a well earned rest,  we are currently putting together a calendar of events and special offers to tempt you with in 2011.

Chris is off to Burgundy tomorrow for his annual trip, so we should have some fabulous insights into what's great and what's not as soon as he returns. I suspect that the event season will be kicked off with a Burgundy tasting in one form or another.

If you are not already on our mailing list please sign up by filling in the form on our home page and we'll keep you informed of our latest events!

Obviously the VAT rate has now been increased to a delightful 20%, the inc VAT prices on our website may not reflect that immediately.

Growers would routinely bottle a modest proportion of their harvest into half bottles and restaurants in particular, would carry them, largely for the benefit of solo diners

Yup, we’re going all Teutonic for the month of April with tastings (both in-store and virtual), a smashing and stupidly discounted “anything but Riesling” mixed case of Germanic joy and a whopping 10% discount off all German wines throughout the month.

10 % discount you say……?
