2009 Burgundy Cask Sample Tasting

Chris' Burgundy trip this year has born fruit in the form of a  2009 Burgundy Cask Sample Tasting.  The 2009 Vintage has received almost as much press attention as 2005, Decanter described it as a 'Perfumed and exotic' Vintage when they first looked at it in September 2009.
 

This is your opportunity to taste this acclaimed vintage and see how it is developing for yourselves.

There will also be an opportunity to purchase some exclusive en-primeur deals.
 

The tasting will take place on Wed 9th Feb at 6.30pm in the shop on Livery Street.
 

We shall be tasting the following cask samples: 

Gerard Thomas: St Aubin la Chatenniere, Chassagne Montrachet 1er cru Chenevottes.

Domaine Pavelot: Savigny-les-Beaune Dominode, Savigny-les-Beaune Peuillets, Beaune Bressandes.

Francois Mikulski: Bourgogne Chardonnay.

Domaine Matrot: Meursault Blagny, Puligny Montrachet Chalumeaux, St Aubin Fleurs du Coteaux. 
 

Roche de Bellene (Nicolas Potel): Bourgogne Rouge, Cotes de Nuits Villages, Volnay, Gevrey Chambertin, Nuits St Georges, Gevrey Chambertin 1er cru Combe aux Moines, Clos de la Roche

Pascal Marchand:Bourgogne Rouge Avalon, Nuits St Georges, Chambolle Musigny, Vosne Romanee, Morey St Denis Faconnieres,Nuits St Georges Damodes.
 

Chris is also creating an exclusive offer on 2009 purchases for tasting attendees. As we only have a limited number of samples, tickets for this tasting are extremely limited and will be offered on a first come first serve basis. Maximum number of two tickets per person, no group bookings available.
