Azienda Uggiano

Château Dauzac is a 5th growth Grand Cru Classé wine with 49 hectares of vineyard in a single continuous block. Labastide Dauzac is their second wine and is produced on clayey gravel conducive to the best expression of Merlot and the intensity of Cabernet Sauvignon, Labastide Dauzac is characterized by its great suppleness and fruitiness. True to the Margaux terroir, Labastide Dauzac is a well-balanced wine.

The 2016 vintage is extremely rich and precise without being excessive, revealing bright fruit and a dense and complex raw material. The high percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon gives it an exceptional acidity/alcohol balance that is an indication of a great vintage.

Appearance: purplish red with purple tints.

Nose: the fruity nose is underlined by spices.

Palate: the attack is full, immediately conveying the pedigree of this balanced, complex wine. A precise Margaux with a fresh finish.

Château Dauzac

Produced by natural fermentation of Lambrusco Salamino grapes, sourced in the zone north of Modena where the vines grow in clay soils.

Ruby red in colour, this is a lightly sparkling, semi-dry Lambrusco (around 25g/l residual sugar) with bright aromas of redcurrant and strawberry, and floral hints. Ripe cherry and berry fruit on the palate with a refreshing spritz..

The wine on which Domaine J.Laurens built it’s reputation and a delicious and serious alternative to Champagne. In the glass, this Crémant is brilliant with a pleasantly gentle fizz. Bright and citrusy, with just a hint of yeasty savouriness overlaying the lovely sweet fruit.

Using the highest quality Pinot Noir grapes, this iconic rose is one of the few Rose Champagnes that is made by drawing the juice from the black grapes in the vat, instead of blending red and white wines. An impressive, classic Séguret - about as good as Côtes du Rhône Villages gets! The nose is as explosive, plush and opulent as ever, layered with suggestions of exotic spices, cracked black pepper and streaked with vanilla. The palate is instantly appealing, polished and smooth on entry but steeped in depth and texture as the flavours swirl around, lengthen and delight. The lasting impression is satisfying - a big and opulent Grenache-driven wine with obvious oak quality, great structure, length and finish.

Medium ruby red colour with a pure nose of ripe dark fruits, cherry, plum and sweet spices like ginger and aniseed supported with discreet oak. The palate is round and textured with a well balanced freshness, ending with a long and broad spicy finish.

Dark and concentrated in colour, this wine greets you on the nose with aromas of ripe red fruits, plums and pencil shavings which follow through onto the palate with chewy black cherries, sweet spices and tannins on the mid palate. The wine ends with a lingering umami finish.

Deep black fruit, raisins and toast. This is a very well structured wine with firm tannins and refreshing acidity, toasty cedar notes mingle well with bramble fruit and dark cherries. A long and complex finish.

This is a wine with delicate fruity aromas, typical notes of white flowers, some herbal notes and tropical fruits. Its freshness reminds of just-picked grapes. This is followed by a fruity acidity, and no oak, resulting in a good mouthfeel to be enjoyed now. Los Poetas Semillón is an elegant and approachable wine, making it ideal to accompany simple food.

The Pinot Noir grapes come from the family-owned ‘Someone’s Darling’ vineyard on the Bendigo Loop Road in Central Otago. This vineyard has been placed in conversion to organics (March 2022). This is a delicious Pinot Noir, with fleshy black plum, layers of cherry and sweet berries that play on the palate and dance with hints of violet and savoury notes.

A lovely fresh and lightly floral sparkling wine made from the Ribolla Gialla grape of northern Italy.

A beautiful ruby colour. A clean nose with good intensity. Complex aromas of leather, ripe sweet fruit and herbs over a base of fine oak. Palate: Potent and juicy with structure and good tenacity. The finish shows lots of spice and is ample, complex, long and persistent.

Bodegas Luis Cañas

Luis Seabra may be a new name on the Portuguese wine scene, but he has already had a hand in crafting some of the Douro’s most exciting wines, working as Dirk Niepoort’s right-hand man from 2004 until leaving to set up his own label in 2012. He is starting small, releasing two whites and one red, with a total production of just 5,000 bottles per wine. Winemaking is minimal-intervention, and the style very much reflects the concentration of care lavished by this experienced winemaker on his tiny output.

A bright, lifted palate shows flavours of freshly picked nectarines, peaches and pears, all against a complex backdrop of wet stones, chalk. Graceful and powerful all at once, with a salty, savoury complexity and a compellingly chewy texture which runs through to the lengthy finish

Christophe Cordiers estate comprises of 30-odd hectares over a number of village appellations in Mâconnais region, including Mâcon-Fuissé Pouilly-Fuissé and Saint Veran. The full bunches undergo a gentle pressing then fermented without decantation using native yeasts. Exotic and spicy aromas this is well-balanced, with herbaceous and floral notes. This wine is light, charming and fresh.

A brilliant yellow colour with hints of green. A bouquet of wild flowers and a salty minerality typical of our regions soils. A fresh and fruity palate; well balanced, aromatic, with intense aromas of citrus, grapefruit and lemon, green peppers and fresh grass.

A classic blend of Macabeo, Parellada and Xarel-lo - from 35 hectares of vines cultivated on the Can Macia estate, in the Anoia river basin near Odena. Made using the traditional Cava method - the wine is matured for an extended period of 24 months before disgorgement to enhance the complex, fruity aromas.

White fruit and citrus aromas lead onto a complex palate with green apple, stone fruit and a touch of white spice. Bubbles are fine and persistent through to the long finish and gentle savoury twist.

One of the most original winemaking projects of recent years, Masi Tupungato is a fusion of Venetian technique and Argentine terroir. The estate – Vigneti La Arboleda – consists of 140 hectares, of which eighty are currently planted with both Argentine varieties (Malbec and Torrontés) and Venetian grapes (Corvina and Pinot Grigio).

A blend of 85% Malbec, whicg is started first, and then the appassimento Corvina grapes are added with selected yests to kick of another fermentation followed by 9 onths in french oak barrels.

Fragrant and complex on the nose with ripe fruits-of-the-forest aromas enhanced by notes of cinnamon and vanilla. Up-front and powerful on the palate with hints of spice and and cooked cherries followed by a long appetising finish.

Areore is a field blend from the vineyard that surrounds the winery. Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Tocai Friulano combine to offer a truly beautiful, very complex and really long wine. The grapes are pressed slowly and remain in the press overnight before starting co-fermentation next day. Open top stainless steel for the start of the fermentation then taken from the skins and moved to large oak once the initial phase is complete. Remains on fine lees in cask for 12 months but with no battonage, bottled and rested for a further 4 months before release.

The vines are from a combination of granite and gravel soils from the Cave de Turckheim vineyards. Rigorous selection of the best Pinot Noir grapes ensures a fruity and fresh character to this gently sparkling rosé which is made using the ‘méthode traditionnelle’ with a secondary fermentation in bottle. Dosage is approximately 9g/l and, as is the custom for crémant from Cave de Turckheim, the wine is aged on lees for longer than the appellation regulations require; for 18 months in this case.

Pale salmon in colour, it's a lovely light and fresh bubbly with a fine and persistent mousse. Strawberries and cream soda on the nose, the mouthfeel is clean, dry and fresh.

100% Pinot Blanc with 24 months lees aging. Gently aromatic with fresh apple scented fruit, a fine mousse and soft, creamy texture from extended lees aging. Elegant and well-balanced finish with a calming zing of acidity to refresh and entice.

Intense black fruit and warm spice, good depth of flavour with some balancing freshness and supple tannins. A very approachable yet classic Crianza.

Ontañón Familia

A Musacadet for ageing produced from the very best plots on the hillside of Moulin de la Miniere. Vinified in underground concrete tanks, matured on lees for 36 months. Rich pineapple and mango notes or complemented with a saline finish.
