Argentine Wine

Fresh plums, violets, blueberry, crushed-stone and mineral aromas on the nose lead to a fresh and brightly fruited, full-bodied palate with firm, silky tannins.

Yellow with a greenish sheen. The aromas on the nose offer a complex but subtle perfume of orange blossom, nutmeg and dried orange peel. Dry and refreshing in the mouth, with a pleasing texture – a fine, fresh line of mineral acidity here reinvigorates the palate and invites a second sip.

This is high altitude Chardonnay grown in the Tunuyan vineyards in Mendoza’s Uco Valley – 50% isfermented and aged in French oak barriques which lends a hefty creaminess to the citrus and stoneyminerality. It’s flipping good Chardonnay frankly

A nose redolent with plum, damson and black cherry fruit. The palate is mid weight with smooth, soft tannins and a clean acidity. The finish shows berry fruit and a hint of spice.

Bodega Los Haroldos

A pioneer in the Uco Valley, Bodega Piedra Negra was established in 1996; François Lurton was the first person to plant vines in the foothills of the Andes Cordillera, at an altitude of 1100 m.a.sl., in semi-desert conditions in the middle of what would become the Geographical Indication of Los Chacayes (the poor, gravelly, alluvial soil is reminiscent of Pessac-Léognan in Bordeaux!). Drawing on expertise acquired all over the world, he immediately introduced environmentally friendly growing methods, and his 99 hectares of vines are managed organically and in adherence to biodynamic principles. In addition to Argentine selections of Malbec, the estate also grows French selections of the grape (known as Cot)

The malbec was fully fermented in 225-litre French oak barrels with a revolving system & post-fermentation maceration for one month in the barrel before Malolactic fermentation with weekly bâtonnage. The Cot was fermented in concrete tank before transfer to French first use oak barrels for the Malolactic fermentation and ageing. Aged 24 months in new French oak.

Deep red-garnet colour. Intense red fruit notes, balanced with complex coffee notes from the aging in oak. Complex & full bodied with ripe tannins highlighting the red and black fruits with floral notes showing great length, with mocha nuances on the finish.

Intense greenish yellow colour. Its aromas are reminiscent of ripe white fruits, with citrus and spicy notes such as thyme and ginger, intertwined with hints of vanilla, toasted almonds and caramel, contributed by fermentation and ageing in French oak. On the palate it has a sweet, unctuous, oily impact, refreshed by a marked acidity, which makes it long and persistent.

Despacito Malbec (Despacito. Slowly) is from vineyards at the foot of the Andes Mountains, cooler temperatures at these higher altitudes provide the ideal conditions for a slower maturation and a perfect ripeness. Hermandad Chardonnay shows a pale yellow colour with greenish highlights. The nose is concentrated and intense with citrus, pineapple and green apple aromas, interwoven with vanilla notes from the oak and some mineral characters from the soil. With a great concentration and elegance, on the palate the first impact is ripe, well balanced by the natural acidity, with rich white fruits and toast bread, and light notes of vanilla. Its finish is long and persistent

A full bodied, rich wine with ripe black fruits flavours supported by rich cherries and juicy plums, there are also hints of violets and vanilla, great texture and long finish.

Falasco Wines

Pure strawberry and blueberry fruit abound on the enticing nose. The palate is complex and layered with cinnamon, cherry tobacco and plum fruits. Finely structured tannins provide texture whilst a clean acidity maintains freshness. The finish is long and displays blueberry pancakes, sweet smoke and dark fruit.

This is a wine with delicate fruity aromas, typical notes of white flowers, some herbal notes and tropical fruits. Its freshness reminds of just-picked grapes. This is followed by a fruity acidity, and no oak, resulting in a good mouthfeel to be enjoyed now. Los Poetas Semillón is an elegant and approachable wine, making it ideal to accompany simple food.

A great Argentinian Malbec offering aromas of red fruits and plums alongside floral and subtle, toasty vanilla notes; medium bodied in the mouth, the style here is soft, juicy and very well balanced with delicious red and dark berried fruits to the fore.

A Bordeaux inspired blend, ripe blackberry fruit, damson and warming spice with subtle flavours of pencil lead, dark chocolate, cardamom and black pepper.

The final blend is 20% of each grape variety taken from 3 different vintages, it is then aged in French oak for 12 months

100% Friulano. Fresh aromas of lime and herbs on the nose with nut kernel; a creamy and textural palate which shows lovely refreshment and complexity and a touch of oak on the finish.

Golden yellow of great intensity with orange tones typical of its production. It is a wine that stands out for its floral aromas. It presents aromas of tropical white fruits, closes with aromas of orange peel. Its acidity is refreshing and bold, medium intensity, long and good acidity and freshness.

Sulfites are not added. Natural yeasts are used and the wine is bottled unfiltered. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts and in contact with their skins, post-fermentation maceration for 45 days.
