Rola Douro White Reserva showcases the unique character of the different areas of the Douro region. The grapes for this wine are grown in one plot, where Ana found a pre-existing mix of roughly 40 year old vines, mainly Viosinho and Rabigato, that express the freshness of the Douro.
Rola Reserva White is an elegant white wine in the nose, with touches of apricot and white flowers with the complexity of well balanced oak due to it spending 6 months in second use French barrels. In the mouth this wine reveals freshness and minerality with a beautiful acidity that gives a long finish on the palate.

Produced from the Castelão and Trincadeira varieties typically found in the region, showing a fruit-forward, easy-drinking wine, with the sunshine and Atlantic breezes from Setúbal Peninsula giving it a lightly toasted pinch of seasoning.
On the nose, a mix of red berries with black plum, raspberries and camellias on the nose make it a very inviting wine. On the palate, we find a mix of fresh juicy red berries and a touch of freshly ground pepper that brings it alive (almost like a Bloody Mary cocktail)! Medium tannins, easy drinking with a smooth character and medium length refreshing finish.
