Tangible proof of elegance, balance and constancy characteristic of the Marques de Murrieta Winery and its surrounding vineyards situated in the Ygay Estate, it is a red Reserva wine with a balanced aging of two years in new and partly new American oak barrels and a year and a half in bottle. The result is an elegant wine that combines complexity and fineness, summing up the best attributes of our identity and actuality. In the mouth the wine is harmonious, fresh and it has polished tannins that provides the wine with a pleasant texture. Its fruity long finish keeps an extraordinary freshness.

Bodegas Marqués de Murrieta

A brilliant cherry-red colour, of medium intensity and purplish highlights. It has a bouquet of wild fl owers and a salty minerality, typical of the region's soils. Forceful yet velvety on the palate. Fruity with notes of blackberries, it hides a slight bitterness that balances the fruit, with a persistent and long finish.

70% Grenache Noir and 30% Carignan Noir

Lovely red colour with purple hints. This intense red wine displays an astonishing nose of small red fruits with a hint of vanilla. On the palate the wines is full-bodied and smooth, completed by elegant fine tannins. The sweetness of the Grenache brings a long finish.

Domaine de la Baume

This light red wine has plentiful red fruit aromas, cherries and raspberries. Its is fleshy and soft with juicy fruit and a lively acidity. The supple tannins are ripe and light, the finish is silky and persistent.

Domaine de Colette

Elegant, fresh cherry and red berry nose with undergrowth melange. The palate is pure with lovely texture and sweet cherry fruit dominates with spicy undertones. The wine is fresh and intense with real vibrancy.

Named in honur of Kopke's, the oldest port house around, home- Quinta Sao Luiz this is a classic Douro blend of Touriga Franca, Tina Roriz and Touriga Nacional.

Offers strong aromas of black fruit and a mix of wildflowers like French lavender and rock-rose. Hints of balsamic and menthol add complexity. On the palate, it reveals flavors of red berries and floral notes, with smooth tannins and a full, lingering finish

Kopke Port House

Simple and involving, this wine is an expression of our gratitude to the land. The Touriga Nacional, Syrah and Alicante Bouschet varieties amuse themselves, cherished by the richness of the soils of Beja and the heat of Alentejo.

Wine of intense ruby colour, aroma of well ripened red fruits, vanilla, good acidity and soft tannins.

Herdade da Figueirinha

From Nicosia's organically farmed vineyards on the slopes of Mount Etna. Delicate, complex aromas of wild strawberry and redcurrant with lightly floral notes. Fresh bitter cherry and red berry fruit on the palate with fresh acidity, earthy notes and a savoury finish.

Medium-bodied unoaked wine with aromas of ripe berries and a hint of chocolate and soft tannins on the palate.

It has a beautiful light cherry colour, with a fresh and vibrant bouquet, reminiscent of wild strawberries and a beautifully balanced palate, with silky smooth fruit, a real freshness running through it and a surprisingly long finish. Try chilled for a delightful summer drop.

Ripe aromas of black fruit with warm wood spice. Cherry and plum fruit on the palate with fresh acidity and smooth balancing tannins. Classic, approachable and satisfying.

Ontañón Familia

Intense black fruit and warm spice, good depth of flavour with some balancing freshness and supple tannins. A very approachable yet classic Crianza.

A Bordeaux inspired blend, ripe blackberry fruit, damson and warming spice with subtle flavours of pencil lead, dark chocolate, cardamom and black pepper.

The final blend is 20% of each grape variety taken from 3 different vintages, it is then aged in French oak for 12 months

Seriously classy Kiwi Pinot Noir crafted by flying winemaker Samantha Bailey whom Chris first met on a trip to southern Burgundy back in the early 90s. She is now applying her skills across the globe and this Pinot is a real testament to her experience – full flavoured and generous but still retaining the acidity and freshness that make it a perfect foil to roast duck.

An untraditional style, where elegance and true character prevail over colour and intensity. Gently compelling with aromas of the earth and stony minerality. The palate includes red fruits, cherries, a hint of spice and creamy refreshing acidity. This is pure, elegant, restrained Cinsault with warm notes of crushed rocks and the regions dry earth.

First time we've come across this Puglian variety, well known in the area around Brindisi. Apparently the name is thought to derive from it's synonym "Somarello" which also means donkey, or from Sumanus, the Roman god of evening rains. Either way, we were very impressed when we tried it.

Deep ruby color with violet tinges; pronounced aromas of spices, black pepper and cloves, and red fruits like cherry and raspberries; medium body, elegant smooth tannins, well balanced with a good acidity. Lingering finish of spices and red fruit.

Cherries, wild berries and a note of cinnamon smoke all appear on the alluring and inviting nose of this Pinot Noir. The palate is elegant and has just a touch of weight, fine smoky tannins, dark cherries covered in chocolate and vanilla ice cream can all be found in this superbly crafted wine

Gorgeous dark fruit flavours, almost syrupy in its concentration. Dark, rich and potent, with layers of black cherry, raspberry and cinnamon. Deep, with pretty fruit cake and spicy aromatics. A lovely long finish.

Cramele Recas

Iona winery uses organic practices in the cultivation of their wines. Minimal intervention whilst the grapes are growing with hand harvesting to select only the best grapes for the wines.

Succulent black cherry aroma, bright but delicate and hints of forest floor, with underlying floral and spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is powerful, with silk-textured length.

Iona

Earthy and baked red plums on the nose. An almost Burgundian savoury quality on the palate with characteful gamey and fruit richness. Balanced with a bright acidity on the finish.

Bright red berries on the nose, and bursting with crunchy juicy, berry fruit flavours with a touch of dry, oak influence. Well-balanced with a lightly grippy, fresh finish.

Purple red colour, with violet flecks. Intense red and black fruits (sour cherries, blueberries, cranberries) floral aromas. This has lovely acidity, a medium body, pleasant tannins, and a delightful slightly bitter and spicy finish. Excellent balance of aromas, alcohol and tannins.

This rich and complex wine emphasises the smoky notes and dark fruits that lead you in it as soon as you open the bottle. The moderate acidity and well inegrated tannins shows a freshness that belies its age with real elegance.

This is the first release of a wine named after the great Beppe Colla - who founded Poderi Colla in 1994 along with his brother Tino and daughter Federica, and did great work to improve the quality, and promote the wines, of the Langhe. It is a limited production of Barolo Bussia Riserva from the Dardi le Rose vineyard - considered to be one of the great Barolo crus - and which will be produced from the the very best barrel of only the best vintages.

Produced from the Bussia Dardi le Rose vineyard in Monforte d'Alba, a 6.2 hectare south / south-west facing vineyard 300-350 metres above sea level. The Nebbiolo grapes were hand-harvested in the first half of October and were destemmed, pressed and macerated on skins for 12-15 days at a maximum temperature of 30°C. The wine completed malolactic fermentation before winter, and in the spring it was transferred to oak barrels for 24-48 months. It then spent a further 48 months in bottle before release.

Delicate aromas of dried flowers, sweet spice and red fruits. The palate is complex with elegant berry and damson fruit supported by soft tannins and notes of liquorice. Long and appealing on the finish.

Les Vignots is one of the most famous vineyard in the appelation, located on the north at the very top of the hillside of Pommard ( 330m altitude)

Full flavoured and elegant, bursting with nuances of dark red fruits and spice. Mouthcoating tannins are apparent but well integrated, a wine that will reward a longer cellaring of up to ten years.

Classy Malbec from the heart of Mendoza. In 2004, a group of small producers got together to form Estancia Mendoza as a small co-operative, since when their dedication and commitment has led to global recognition. This 100% Malbec is a wine that ticks a lot of boxes – it’s generous and full flavoured with all manner of dark fruits gathering together, underpinned by gentle oak but with soft tannins and well-balanced acidity. Barbecue wine on steroids!

A Pinot Noir from the southern Loire region of the Auvergne. Fresh and aromatic with sappy green notes, hints of herbs and ripe cherry fruit on the nose. The palate is elegant and textured with smooth, sappy red cherry fruit. Beautifully expressive and elegant. A pure, lighter-style red wine with no harsh edges.

Fabrizio Vella is a passionate winemaker living and working in Sicily.

Proud of the island that he calls home he wanted to create a wine range that was personal to him, that reflected where he was from. Working with indigenous varieties of Cattaratto and Nero d’Avola he conjured four wines using an organic approach and careful winemaking to create wines that are fresh, exciting, moreish and true to their origin. A Sicilian wine through and through.

A natural wine with a complex nose, which is spicy and packed full of punchy liqouirice, chocolate, and dark fruits. Crisp, pleasant and persistent in the mouth.

From one of the leading growers of Chianti Classico this is a kind of “baby Chianti” – mostly Sangiovese (obv) with 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot thrown in. Full of raspberry and cherry fruit it’s a lighter style which is ideal with white meats or summer salads.

This wine is made from Georgias's indigenous grape variety – Saperavi, which is hand harvested from the Kakheti Region (East Georgia). Wine undergoes 7-10 days of fermentation on skins. Once fermentation is complete, skins are removed from the wine.

Saperavi is often compared to Malbec, Cabernet Franc and even Gamay depending on how it is made. In this case we are firmly in Malbec territory – deep, bright and juicy with dark berry flavours.

Teliani Valley Winery

SARDÓN is outstanding for intense fruitiness from the very outset, revealing notes of red berries, blueberries, red cherry, very fresh fruit and hints of thyme imbuing it with a markedly youthful character. On the palate, the fine balance among the red berries, acidity and smooth, mature tannins is outstanding. The time in the barrel has smoothed yet has not marked this wine, so we can enjoy a long, silky drink.

Quinta Sardonia

Not posh or sophisticated but very appealing - warm earth and herbs with a meatiness right in the middle!

Vibrant and youthful colour with cherry jam and red berry fruit characters. The palate is warm and generous, packed full of polished berry fruit, a touch of spice and a bitter plum twist on the finish. Tannins are gentle and add structure to this substantial, spicy red.
