Produced from low yield, 35 year old vines, this is another gold medal winning wine from the 25th Independent Winegrowers contest. The old/low yielding vines gives this wine concentrated flavours with a very open, soft, textured palate, with the syrah proportion adding lovely rich black fruit.Domaine de la Bastide
An intriguing combination of one of Italy's most successful grape varieties, Pinot Grigio, and one of their lesser known gems from the island of Sicily, Catarratto. Sweet ripe fruit flavours, citrus and golden plum, are combined with the natural spice of the Catarratto.
Who would have thought that Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc would make such good bedfellows? Anyone who has tried this wine, that's who. It turns out that the peachy stone fruit flavours of the Viognier are the perfect complement to zesty gooseberry Sauvignon flavours.Domaine de la Bastide
