Aged for 11 years in ex-Bourbon American oak and finished in the finest 500l Masi Amarone casks for 12 months.
This whisky has adopted a golden red hue with a nose that exhibits notes of mulled spices and floral fruits alongside darker, richer fruits such as elderberry and plum. On the palate there is a strong emphasis on purple fruit (elderberries and plums again, joined by blackcurrants) followed by sour cherry, red apple and ripe pear components, along with an elegant cinnamon spice and (perhaps unsurprisingly) a touch of dry red wine.

Finish. Long, wonderfully layered oak offering variations of a sweet dry theme; a touch silky with some cream toffee at the death
