‘Ser Lapo’ Chianti Classico Riserva 2017

Tasting Note

This outstanding Chianti Classico Riserva is how the Marquis Mazzei celebrate their notable ancestor Ser Lapo, author of the first official document mentioning “Chianti wine” (December 16th, 1398).

Complex aromas of ripe cherries, black truffles and dried flower, such as lavender and rose petals. Full-bodied, tight and solid with chewy tannins, yet it's polished and refined. Untertones of porcini mushrooms and walnut rind. Energetic and focussed.
