This nostalgic beer specialty, which can be confidently ranked among the traditional old Bavarian beers, is brewed in commemoration of the good old times and in honor of the brewery’s founder, Johann Liebhard. The special feature of the ""Kellerbier"" is the fine yeasty cloudiness and the pleasantly bitter taste. As it is bottled unfiltered, many of the natural protein, yeast and hop elements remain contained in the beer. It consequently retains its original character and the beer connoisseur can appreciate the fullness of taste that this very drinkable beer offers. Furthermore, the vitamin and mineral-rich yeast also provides a significant contribution to the nutritional requirements of good health.

Guinness is entirely the domain of . The one exception is this version, also called GXS, which was originally commisioned by adventurous English brewer and Guinness distributor John Martin in 1944 as he resurrected his own belgian brewery and wholesale business. The taste characteristics are similar to those of the traditional Irish one, but raised to a higher level for his Belgian customers: that goes especially for the alcohol content at 8%. Rich malty flavours combine with smoky roasted barley. Liquorice and butterscotch play supporting roles, along with molasses, hints of vanilla and dark fruit accents. An Irish stout with a continental edge.

The fresh smell of fine yeast and pleasant fruity notes combines with the mild spiciness of malt, fruit and clove flavor and a hint of nutmeg. This is an aged Belgian red ale, which is ripened quietly in oak barrels for two years. It has an extremely pungent aroma of rich grapey fruit, with acidic notes, very much like a slightly sour red wine or possibly a gueuze. In the mouth it is slightly sweet, extremely acidic and fruity, with grapes and even cherries discernible, and very lively. Despite the sweetness it is not at all cloying, even thin, with little or no trace of malt. Finish is sharp and fruity.
