Beautiful crimson very deep, very and intense. The nose is complex with notes of black fruits, ripe red fruit, plum, mixed with toasted notes of toast, vanilla bean. This wine is very concentrated in the mouth, with tight tannins, fat, volume, mocha, blackberry, roundness and fine tannins on the finish.
An expressive nose, with floral notes and ripe fruit (citrus and quince) evolving alongside the honeyed notes that are just starting to develop. Fresh, rounded and ample in the mouth. Good balance between the sweetness and the acidity. Finishes long, with the honey flavours re-emerging, alongside dried fruit notes.Sauvion

All of the grapes - grown in bio-certified vineyards – come from at least three different varieties that have been harvested together. After meticulous grape selection via hand-picking the individual batches of grapes for the Wiener Gemischter Satz DAC were macerated for three hours before being carefully pressed. The pre-clarified must underwent cool fermentation and maturation in steel tanks in order to accentuate the racy, fruity character as much as possible. Following a moderate amount of time on the fine lees, the individual batches were blended together and bottled. Since 2013, the Wiener Gemischter Satz has been ennobled with “DAC”, the strictly controlled designation of origin for Viennese wine.
This fragrant and fresh wine shows plenty of complexity. The nose is rich of apple, sweet pea and rose petal. The texture is rather spare, but the buoyant finish is delightfully refreshing and at least fleetingly fascinating.
The grapes for the Wiener Grüner Veltliner are grown in the vineyards of the Wiener Bisamberg (65%) and the Nussberg (35%). The Bisamberg soil is comprised of light, sandy loess over solid limestone, and is very calcareous. The Nussberg consists mainly of weathered shell-limestone – also over massive limestone.
This wine shines with a soft, balanced Veltliner nose. It's fragrant, fresh and yields a very elegant palate. It's smooth and very approachable with a vibrant acidity structure. Already as a young wine, this Grüner Veltliner is so pleasant with its spicy and fresh style. And it makes an ideal companion for classic Austrian dishes.Weingut Wieninger
The Wiener Trilogie 2015 is a blend comprised of 65% Zweigelt, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot, with the grape varieties harvested at different times. Zweigelt was harvested first, from mid- to late September; and the last to be harvested was Cabernet, toward the end of October. After each of the wine varieties underwent their own fermentation and subsequent malolactic fermentation - in large wooden casks or steel tanks – the individual wines were racked into barriques. Depending on the structure of the wine, more or less around 20% of the wood used for the Trilogie is new. In our 16th century cellar, the wine matured in the barriques for around 20 months – these were repeatedly moved, and then, gradually, the final cuve´e was put together.
This wine reveals intense red berry aromas accompanied by delicate scents of Zweigelt spice and a touch of moss and wet leaves. One the palate are juicy, spicy cherry fruit tones with playful yet gentle tannins. The Wiener Trilogie is not a thick, fat new world wine – it delivers mouthfuls of drinking pleasure with lots of finesse, and makes an ideal food companion.
Dry clean and refreshing, lovely mineral nose and packed with peachy, honeyed , lime flavours, perfect with seafood.
