The summer holidays are coming and to put you in the holiday mood we're holding a rum tasting.
2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019... is meant to be the year rum finally emerges as the on-trend drink, and not just drunk by pirates. In fact purists would prefer for rum to lose the pirate connotations entirely, and there is much talk in the industry for a new/simpler classification system, with even some calling for labels such as 'botanical rum' to tempt gin consumers.
Join us for an evening where we shall have some fun with rum and get you in the holiday mood!
There will be 5 rums to try on the night with mixers.
NB: No physical tickets will be sent out. Your name will be added to the event guest list held at the store.
Tasting tickets are non-refundable, transferable up to 14 days prior to the event.
There`s plenty of deep, dark fruit on the nose of this classy Barossa Tempranillo. In the mouth this is a wine that`s equally eager to show its lighter side, with plenty of creamy red fruit alongside the damson and blackberry promised by the nose. With 20 months in new oak it seems fair to describe this as an Aussie Reserva
A blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Tibouren and Syrah
Colour: Pale with pomelo hues.
Nose: Precise and delicate with notes of flowers and melon
Palate: Powerful and well balanced with hints of citrus and red fruit, highlighted by a pleasant minerality
This sumptuous small batch gin is the latest addition to The Cotswold Distillery catalogue and will take your taste buds on a journey through the Middle East and Asian subcontinent.
The word Baharat means "blend of spices", with a foundation of juniper and coriander to which they’ve added an exotic blend of cardamom, cumin, clove, cinnamon, black pepper, chilli and a hint of JaffaCotswolds Distillery
