The standard in pale ales, this beautiful amber liquid pergectly balances Northern Brewer, Cascade, Simcoe, and Citra hops, then melds them together with Carastan malts to create an incredibly satisfying beer-flavoured beer that tastes like beer.
The bright gold Augustiner Edelstoff has understated notes of cut grass, herbs, and sweet malts that are balanced by a moderate bitterness. Its light body and delicate carbonation lead to a smooth mouthfeel that still finds a way of being crisp and lingering with a fantastically clean finish.
A straw-coloured bitter which initially seems sweet, but a complex dry, hoppy taste soon predominates.
